Boxing, Havana, Cuba
Boxing in Cuba is much like Little League Baseball here in the United States. Kids, coaches and parents. Each have their own intensity. One young man warmed up under the bleachers. Wrapping his hands, shadow boxing in the pitted mirror, he waited his turn in the ring. Finally his match was called. With shouts, whistles and strong body language his father watched from the side. Strong hits in the heat wears down the best conditioned fighter but he prevails today.
